The Mile End Guitar Coop is a collective of guitar builders operating out of a communal space

in the heart of the vibrant Mile End neighborhood in Montreal, Quebec. Instruments built

by our members have been sold around the world and displayed in pre-emminent

luthier showcases.

Our shop is a combination of full-time and aspiring luthiers sharing space, tools, supplies, and ideas. The current members build a wide variety of guitars -- classical, electric, steel-string, cigar box, and even the occasional banjo thrown in for good measure.

We also drink delicious coffee and typically don't wear shoes in the shop.
